About Us
The 4N6 Science Detective Club was founded by three women with a combined experience of almost 50 years in a crime laboratory. Although we all love our job (and a good true crime podcast), we decided to put some of that passion into inspiring the generations that will come to follow.
The three of us did not learn about the field of forensic science until high school. There were some classes offered; however, we learned mostly through discovery channel and true crime shows. Our goal was to create the product that we all wish we had when we were kids. One that would have allowed us to learn through hands-on activities and make us feel like we were a part of something larger. That is what we hope to provide to our customers.
Each of us has our own story about how we got involved in forensic science, and we hope to be a part of yours.
What Makes Us Different?
4N6 Science Detective Club was started by three real-life forensic scientists. We bring a unique perspective to the world of kids’ activities, merging fun with authentic science. From fingerprint analysis to entomology, each activity is crafted to teach children how science can be used to solve real-world problems.
Our team of forensic scientists understands the importance of hands-on learning and we’ve designed our boxes to engage young minds in ways that are both exciting and educational. By combining our expertise with creativity, we ensure that every box not only sparks curiosity but also fosters a deep appreciation for science and critical thinking.
So, what makes us different? We’re not just teaching kids to follow instructions—we’re inspiring the next generation of detectives and scientists.
